Oil projects
Al-Basrah Eurolane has carried out many projects in the oil sector. With the use of our highly qualified specialist workforce with technical expertise we carried out many projects including a proposal for water injection in West Qurna field in partnership with (Al-Fao General Engineering), and participation in the draft proposal and work in Maysan and the implementation of work on the Processing Refinery Unit in Basra.
Electricity projects
Al-Basrah Eurolane has undertaken many successful and large scale Electricity Projects. Below are examples of some of the most high profile initiatives undertaken to modernize and reconstruct Electrical capacity in Iraq
Projects to Extend and re-establish the power grid in Umm Qasr
The United Nations Development Program (UNDP) funded the project and covered the costs of materials only.
The project was contracted to Al-Basrah Eurolane to carry out the installation of (120) electricity columns at the height of (11m) each, columns had to be set at high pressures (ACSR) which were additionally fitted with switch settings throughout and wires covered a total distance of (17000 m).
To reach the objective set to achieve different capacities (30) columns were set at low pressure, which can be easily switched allowing for (500) columns to be controlled. In addition capacity braid (3X95+50 + 16) was also installed.
